Interesting that I got a similar offer.

He made quite clear that he wished to bend my skill at coordinating and connecting people to his ends. I replied, more or less, that since I did not know what his ends were, aside from some cryptic doubletalk he'd made on the topic, no.

And then he tried to get Tartaglia to give him a list of everyone who expressed interest or showed up at our fight club, which ... that kind of reporting to anyone makes me uncomfortable.

He's preparing for war. It is his nature.

While he is working to improve the position of augmented in Karteria, my concern is that a division of power in the city could spark conflict between those who support us and those who oppose us.

Too many would be caught in the middle. I do not like it.

Sensible in theory, but I fear that moving militia forces into foreign territory may be taken as hostile, whether it is intended to be or not.

i don't like military or militia situations in general

if people need to be protected or to protect themselves then that is good

but set's militia gives me the impression of something that turns people against other people

i do not like the creation of factions

I agree.

I voiced my concerns to Set, but he doesn't care.

As a god of war, he expects to be hated for his actions. For doing things he deems necessary. No amount of argument or protest will deter him, I think.
